Last day: Tokyo, Japan

Last day in Japan.  Boo.  We had breakfast (still 10/10) and then went to a store called Daiso. Then we got on the train to leave to Tokyo.
A train ride in Tokyo

Then we did a bunch of shopping in a bunch of weird places. Then we went to a place called Sushizanmai to eat dinner.  Then we flew home.  It was a long and boring flight but I made it.  Then we went to bed, remembering all the great moments of our trip to Japan.

The End
Or is it....

Day 8: Kyoto, Japan

First, we had a yummy breakfast (still 10/10).  Then we went to an awesome place called Nijojo.  It is a cool castle.

Then we saw my friend from Washington.  It was awesome.  Then we went to the Imperial Palace (in Kyoto this time) and saw my mommy’s aunties and uncles.

We woke up and had a yummy breakfast.  This time, the buffet only got a 10/10 because they didn’t have chocolate croissants.  Boo.  Anyways, then we went to see Baaba’s old house.  It was cool.

Day 6: Mostly Kyoto, Japan

We are in Osaka!  First thing's first...
BREAKFAST BUFFET!!!!!!
Oh, and if you can't already tell, I LOOOOOOOOOOVE good breakfast buffets.  I was ready to rate this one on the JBB scale (Jacob Breakfast Buffet scale).  The last one got a 9/10 for its lack of donuts.  The first one wasn't really even a buffet, so I gave it a 3/10.  We'll do better this time... I hope.  Okay, I'm here.  I'm inspecting.  Hmm, I see.  Okay.
RESULTS:
  • No donuts; -1
  • French fries; +2 (AWESOME)
  • Chocolate croissants; +1
  • Bacon and sausages not so good;-1
  • FINAL: 11/10
Okay.  Pretty good.  Time to eat!
After the meal was over, we went to Takashimaya (a department store) to see my grandma's (Baaba as we call her) old friends.  They were nice.  They gave us lots of food.  Then we went to Kiyomizu and it was super cool.

We learned where the Japanese idiom "Jumping from the veranda of Kiyomizu temple" (you use it when you do something daring) came from.  Then we went to an awesome cream puff place and we saw awesome toilets.

Then we went to a temple called Heian Jingu.

Day 5: Hiroshima, Japan to Osaka, Japan

Today we are going to Kyoto.  Apparently it is boss.  In the morning, we got up and saw a temple on some water.

We saw cool deer.  They were boss.  We also saw cool machines making something that I forgot the name of.

Then we left Hiroshima and went on the boring train ride.  Then we went to our hotel, had dinner at a place we called Awesome Ramen, and went to bed.

Day 4: Tokyo, Japan to Hiroshima, Japan

Today we are leaving Tokyo.  I had to say bye bye to Akihabara.  I was sad.  Today was crowded.  The first part I will skip because it was essentially just riding a train.

Once we got to Hiroshima, we went to the Peace Memorial Museum.  It was sad.  Then we went to see the Hiroshima A-bomb dome.

It was super cool.  Then we ate dinner at this place that serves izekaya food.  It was boss.  Then we went to bed.

Day 3: Tokyo, Japan again

AAAHHHHH!  It’s my birthday!  Woohoo!  Today we get to do lots of stuff!  I got up and promptly fell out of bed.  I then scrambled up and grabbed my button, pressing it so many times that it fell apart.  I went downstairs and had a donut for breakfast.

Then, we went to see the Imperial Palace, which was now open, and it was awesome.  Then, we went to New Guinea – or Ginza – and saw my mommy’s auntie.  Then I went back to Akihabara and got more buttons and a DISCO BALL for my birthday.  We then had dinner at an awesome place with my mommy's auntie.
